Jennifer Hsiung
Jennifer Hsiung co-anchors CP24 Breakfast, Toronto’s most-watched morning show, where she helps viewers kickstart their day with a blend of news and entertainment from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on weekdays.
Her reporting spans significant global events such as the Beijing Olympics and the G20 Summit, as well as major cultural happenings like the Academy Awards and international fashion weeks. She has interviewed some of the world’s top sports figures and celebrities including Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming, and Sandra Oh.
Outside of journalism, Jennifer is a talented stand-up comedian, having performed on Comedy Central’s Stand-Up Asia! and becoming the only female to reach the finals of the 2017 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. Jennifer was recognized with the iHeart Comedy Award for Best Newcomer Comic in Toronto in 2020, highlighting her versatility and talent beyond traditional journalism.
Jennifer is also a member of ACTRA, (you can see her as officer Jesse Hooper in The Hardy Boys) and completed her first Half Ironman triathlon in Muskoka in 2024. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
